The Pillow that I made

The next thing I made was a pillow, Here's a picture of it.

I had to make all those little puffs with the buttons on them by hand.
I also had to make the hexagons by hand as well.

That lace is heirloom lace but we didn't do it exactly like they would of done it back then.

I think the hardest thing for me was making all the little tucks around the edge of it,
at least that was the thing that I think we spent the most time on anyway.

There's not really much to say about this one, but hope you enjoy it anyway.

A little while ago, I started taking sewing lessons. I have finished three projects already & just have been procrastinating to put photo's of them up here!!!

But anyway I decided to do the first one, & the other 2 will come a little later.

This first photo is of the front of the bag that I made.

And the next one is a close up of the same side.

Now I've turned it over, This is the other side.

And a close up......

I did every thing except one thing in picture 2. the embroidery around my name.

So that is the bag that I made. I will be back in a few days & put something else that I have sewn up......See if you can guess what it is?!

The 6th picture in the 6th photo album

Here's a bit of fun. Never done one of these before but I can do different. My mum at So To Speak, Tagged me to select the 6th picture in my 6th photo folder and give an insightful, creative and delightfully entertaining description of story behind the photo.

This picture was taken because we had just got a new phone & I think it was the first one that we had owned that had a camera on it,so we were trying it out.

We got some pretty funny ones of us, but the 6th photo in this album(this one) wasn't one of them!(I can say that I'm annoyed because I wan't in one of the silly ones!)

I think Ashley & Rowena are sighing in relief that it wasn't one of the silly ones of them!

Paper Dolls are fun!

This is pretty cool.

Their paper dolls that you download. Then you print them, cut them out, stick them on some cardboard, cut them out again, & then you play with them....obviously.

They also have clothes that you can download as well, then print them, & then cut them out. You DON'T have to put the clothes on cardboard.

Mum found these for Gabrielle & she loves them!! All you have to do is click here & it will take you to the site.

It's a bit of work, but it's definitely worth it for someone who likes dolls (like Gabby).

Rhemathon to Rhememba

Rhemathon was last weekend!!!

Over the last two days, I ( & my family) have gone down to Rhema 99.7 to help them with Rhemathon.

It has been so fun, tiring but fun.

On Saturday, Dad, Rowena,Caleb & I went down,Dad was on one of the phone's,Caleb & I were running & doing odd jobs, & also cheering down in the tally room. Rowena, Alli(a friend), Caleb, Aaron( an announcer at Rhema) & I, formed a "air band". It was funny, during the songs, one of us would do the drums, one would do the guitar....etc...etc....etc.

On Sunday, The whole family came down, & basically did the same, Dad did a phone, us kids would run the pledges down to the tally room..etc..etc. I also helped Michelle(the receptionist) with some stuff.

Well....Where do I start?

Tahlee was just awesome! Being able to spend time with the Johns family for a week,
Helping with the tour,singing for the tours, etc...etc...etc,& just being there,it was really good.

& easterfest!! Wow! It was the first time I've been, & to see the bands that I've
grown up with their music & I've sung their songs....it was amazing.
I mean, there was the not so fun parts,like when your in the car & somebody forgot
to put deodorant on....it's not so nice.
Then there was the rain, the mud on EVERYTHING,the sickness that half of my family caught while we were up there(which thankfully I didn't catch) But I would definitely like to go again.I'd like to go next year,because they'll have my favourite band....but I don't think we will. :(

Anyway,I think that whoever is reading this right now....if your thinking of going to easterfest,do it,it's worth it.

Christmas was heaps of fun.The presents,the food,the family,we all had a wonderfull time. I got a mp3 player, a bag, a bracelet & a dvd.Ashley was the one who got me the mp3 player. I gave Ashley a bag & a stuffed love heart that I had sewn.It was great seeing the Shultz's again.And then coming home to see Grandma & Poppy.I hope you all had such a wonderfull christmas as i did.

My day today is going to be fun. Grandma & Poppy are coming(they'll be here about lunch time), all the presents are out. Aunty Karen & Uncle Leo are coming tomorrow & we'll have a christmas party & then on christmas day were going over to Nan's to have a big party there. Theres going to be almost the whole side of the family there! It's going to be heaps of fun.
This year I'm buying for Ashley, & she's buying for me.I have no idea what I'm getting from her, but she has an idea of what she's getting from me(grrrrr).
Were having a huge lunch, & also were having a yummy breakfast, Coco Pops & Nutri grain.
